The Finance Head will be responsible for managing the complete financial strategy, planning, and control functions of Eagle Crest DMC across all operating destinations. The role demands strong expertise in travel industry finance, multi-currency operations, vendor/agent settlements, working capital management, and compliance across India and overseas entities. The Finance Head will act as a strategic business partner to the Managing Director to ensure sustainable profitability, cost optimization, and financial discipline aligned with the group IPO goals.
* Drive Eagle Crest’s financial strategy in line with group objectives (GTV, margins, profitability targets).
* Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and monthly rolling projections for all regions.
* Develop robust financial models to evaluate new destinations, MICE movements, and expansion projects (US, UK, EU, AU).
* Partner with the business team to set pricing policies, credit structures, and commission payouts.
* Oversee end-to-end accounting, P&L management, and balance sheet accuracy across multiple geographies.
* Consolidate MIS reports for Dubai, Bali, Vietnam, Thailand entities; reconcile with group MIS dashboards.
* Ensure transparent reporting of vendor-wise purchase vs. sales, gross margins, and destination profitability.
* Present financial dashboards and variance analysis to MD & Group CFO.
* Manage fund flow planning, receivables, and payables to maintain positive working capital cycles.
* Oversee multi-currency treasury management; hedge forex exposures where necessary.
* Negotiate credit terms with hotels, activity providers, transporters, and suppliers.
* Implement structured agent credit policies aligned with group’s ASM/State Head frameworks.
* Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards, international taxation, and local country laws (VAT/GST in UAE, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam).
* Liaise with statutory auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities across regions.
* Set up internal audit systems and financial controls to prevent revenue leakage and fraud.
* Oversee contracts, vendor agreements, and group inter-company billing compliance.
* Build and mentor a regional finance team across Eagle Crest offices.
* Implement SOPs, approval hierarchies, and delegation of authority in line with group policies.
* Collaborate closely with sales, operations, and MIS teams for seamless financial integration.
* Strong knowledge of **travel industry finance, DMC operations, and MICE costing**.
* Expertise in **multi-currency accounting, international taxation, and transfer pricing**.
* Advanced skills in **Power BI, ERP/CRM finance modules, Excel-based modeling**.
* Proven leadership and ability to manage cross-border finance teams.
* Strategic thinker with strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent (CIMA/CPA/ACCA).
* 10–15 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role in the travel/hospitality/DMC sector.
* Exposure to multi-country finance operations preferred.
* Monthly MIS accuracy & timely reporting.
* Net working capital efficiency and receivable collection timelines.
* Vendor credit terms & cost optimization achieved.
* Destination-wise gross margin improvements.
* Compliance adherence (audit clearance, tax filings, statutory obligations).
