About This Opportunity
The Head of Compliance and Supplier Management shall create and secure Stakeholder value and satisfaction through efficient execution of the Sourcing sub-processes, achieved by developing the Compliance and Supplier Management organization and driving operational efficiency in alignment with the Global Business Services (GBS) and Global Sourcing Services (GSS) units strategies and priorities.The Head of Compliance and Supplier Management Services shall manage the respective units’ performance, working towards GSS targets, approved and aligned with relevant stakeholders, using approved strategies, processes and tools.
What You Will Do
The Head of Compliance and Supplier Management Services shall manage the respective unit’s performance, working towards GSS targets, approves and aligns with relevant stakeholders, using approved strategies.
- Plans effectively the human resources and is responsible for recruitment and onboarding of the new employees, ensuring equal opportunities for all, diversity and inclusion.
- Manages the job description processes related to team members including building and revising these materials.
- Instructs the team about the internal policies applicable for their activity – general ones (e.g. Internal Regulations, Code of Business Ethics, Travel Policy, Time reporting, etc.) and specific ones (e.g. WLA, SLA, OLA, etc.) and acts accordingly
- When necessary, creates and coordinates the creation of working instructions for his/her team and it is responsible for the team member acknowledgement.
- Acts as mediator in any team member interaction both professionally and behavior and manages conflicts.
- Responsible for managing all employee and unit processes and related tools
- Sets and follows-up on team and individual targets and gets commitment.
- Follow-up performance of individuals and provide feedback to individuals, coaching them.
- Provide input for setting objectives, sets OKRs and priorities for the team and helps individuals set priorities.
- Take corrective actions with employees.
- Manage stress & crisis situations.
- Manage approvals according to existing processes and within the limits of current responsibilities and authorizations.
- Supports optimal work-life balance by ensuring an appropriate and equitable work volumes in the team.
- Act as a role model for the team and the GSS organization and outside.
- Shares knowledge and use collaboration tools with his team, but also cross teams in GSS and GBS.
- Communicates business environment, BU & Ericsson strategies understanding to the team and transform them into local plans.
- Communicates a vision to the team.
- Delegates responsibilities within the team and follows up on performance.
- Responsible Sourcing.
- Identify & implement best practices and drives improvement programs for the team / individuals.
- Participates in external & internal events and networks as relevant.
- Ensure adherence to global and local processes, methods & tools, adjusting ways of working to local customs with consideration to Code of Business ethics (Compass)
- Drives strategy development, identifies and addresses barriers to performance.
- Drive change management according to set goals.
- Develop plans for team development connected to business needs: career development, competence development, soft skills development, leadership skills.
- Support Talent Management programs.
- Manage and balance resources, cost and competence needs (pyramids).
- Support the employee in the process of exit from the company whenever it is necessary as required by the instructions applicable.
- Manage external resources (if applicable).
- Update Human Resource Management Systems.
- Manage expenses of any kind and financial statements and claims for assigned team.
- Manage and fallow up on financial forecast and optimizes budget utilization.
- Builds and maintain stakeholder relations through Governance process execution.
- Manages stakeholders’ escalations, driving root cause analysis and support corrective and preventive actions implementation.
- Ensure business continuity and manage business and OHS risks in collaboration with support and peer functions.
- Develop methods and/or implement automation tools & processes to maximize efficiency
The Skills You Bring
- Education: BS or M Sc/BA degree in relevant fields
- Fluent in written and spoken English. Additional language skills are a plus.
