Job Description

Head of Human Resources

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support business growth, organizational development, and future workforce planning.
  • Drive initiatives on succession planning, leadership development, and talent management.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment across key verticals such as sales, construction, legal, and corporate roles.
  • Build strong employer branding and implement retention strategies to reduce attrition and ensure workforce stability.

Performance Management

  • Design and implement effective performance management systems that promote accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Guide leadership in goal setting, KPIs, and regular feedback mechanisms.

Employee Engagement & Culture Building

  • Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven work environment.
  • Plan and execute engagement programs, recognition frameworks, and cultural initiatives.

Learning & Development

  • Conduct training needs assessments and implement programs to upskill staff across departments.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and career growth.

HR Policy & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and real estate-specific regulatory requirements.
  • Draft, review, and update HR policies to reflect business needs and legal changes.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Oversee payroll administration, CTC structuring, and benefits management.
  • Benchmark compensation trends in the real estate industry to maintain competitiveness.

HR Operations

  • Streamline and standardize HR processes and documentation.
  • Leverage HRMS and technology to improve efficiency, reporting, and employee experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably within the real estate or construction industry.
  • Solid understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and sector-specific HR dynamics.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leadership and manage change effectively.
  • Proficient in HRMS, payroll software, and reporting tools.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in managing HR functions across corporate offices and construction/project sites.
  • Familiarity with RERA compliance and HR documentation specific to real estate projects.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling HR operations in high-growth organizations.
