JOB DESCRIPTION – Strategic Head – Human Resources The Business HR will be in charge of managing all HR-related activities for GIRI, a well-known retailer with a focus on spirituality, across all of its verticals. This position, which is based in the Chennai corporate office, will serve as the HR Business Partner, overseeing every aspect of the staff's employment lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, training, engagement, retention, and grievance resolution. Across all verticals, the role will be responsible for maintaining smooth HR processes and cultivating a high-performance, employee-centric culture. HR Business Partnering for GIRI Serve as the strategic HR partner for retail operations and other verticals, coordinating HR programs with corporate objectives. In order to boost success and growth, work with Functional leadership to comprehend business demands and offer HR solutions. Ensure that all verticals across country are using HR rules and procedures. Give managers advice and assistance on HR-related issues. Recruitment and Staffing Create and implement hiring tactics to draw in and choose top candidates. Ensure that the staffing needs are met on schedule by supervising the entire hiring process. Establish and preserve a talent pool for important positions. To increase hiring efficiency and meet hiring goals, assemble a strong recruitment team and work together Induction and Training Establish thorough onboarding procedures for new hires to guarantee a seamless integration into the business. Provide HR policy and benefit training programs and keep an eye on other programmers' product expertise, customer service, and sales tactics. Track the success of training initiatives and make ongoing enhancements. If required, to provide customized training modules based on needs. Employee Lifecycle Management From Recruitment to separation, manage the staff's complete employment lifecycle. Make sure that every phase of the employment lifecycle is smooth and enjoyable. Qualifications and Experience: · Education: Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. · Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HR, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role overseeing HR operations in a retail and/or Ecommerce or similar environment. Willingness must be there to travel extensively between the cities for showroom visits. Industry Experience: Prior experience in the retail industry and / or Ecommerce is highly desirable.
