Job Description

Purpose:

To lead the Human Resources function across all units of Jesus Calls, ensuring spiritual alignment and operational excellence in people management. This role involves managing the entire employee lifecycle—recruitment, development, engagement, compliance, and retention—while upholding the values and mission of the ministry.

Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic HR Leadership

  • Design and implement HR strategies aligned with the ministry’s vision.
  • Provide direction to all HR activities across Jesus Calls branches and departments.
  • Serve as an advisor to leadership on all people-related decisions and organizational health.

2. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment for ministry, technical, administrative, and support roles.
  • Ensure all hires are spiritually aligned and professionally competent.
  • Build a strong recruitment pipeline using internal referrals, ministry networks, and job portals.

3. HR Legal & Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with labor laws, statutory filings, and employment regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, PF, ESI, gratuity, and other legal requirements.
  • Handle employee contracts, internal audits, and legal correspondence.

4. Performance Management & Appraisal

  • Design and implement a ministry-aligned performance appraisal system.
  • Set clear KPIs and conduct regular reviews with department heads.
  • Introduce recognition programs that encourage excellence and spiritual growth.

5. Employee Engagement & Culture Building

  • Promote a Christ-centered culture rooted in prayer, integrity, and unity.
  • Develop staff engagement programs, feedback channels, and well-being initiatives.
  • Foster open communication, conflict resolution, and team spirit.

6. Training & Development

  • Organize role-specific and ministry-focused training programs.
  • Plan induction, spiritual formation, skill development, and leadership training.
  • Build a learning environment for continuous professional and spiritual growth.

7. Attendance & HR Operations Management

  • Monitor and manage attendance systems, leave policies, and work discipline.
  • Supervise payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR documentation.
  • Oversee HRMS or other digital HR systems for accurate reporting and transparency.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in HR Management, MBA (HR), or equivalent
  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including multi-location HR leadership
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, compliance, and statutory norms
  • Excellent in recruitment, engagement, training, performance management, and employee relations
  • Proficient in HRMS, payroll systems, and attendance software
  • Spiritually mature with a heart for ministry and servant leadership
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
