Our client specializes in supporting companies within the healthcare sector by providing marketing & commercial solutions across SEA & India. The current job opportunity is with my client a Singapore based, healthcare multi-national company with operations in SEA, Middle East and North Africa with established plan for global expansion. Their main focus is on sales, marketing and distribution of Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Diagnostics & OTC products.


As a Head HR, you will be responsible for...


Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on HR professional with 12 to 18 years of experience—preferably from medical device companies & pharma/healthcare industry—to lead our human resource’s function.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic thinking with a practical, execution-oriented approach. The individual will be responsible for establishing and streamlining HR processes, with a strong focus on managing talent acquisition, particularly for field sales teams, and setting up robust hiring frameworks that support organizational growth.


Responsibilities:


Talent Acquisition & Process Setup:

  • Leading and managing end-to-end recruitment activities, with a special focus on field sales hiring (Medical Representatives, Key Account Managers, Technical Specialists, Sales Managers).
  • Building, implementing, and continuously improving structured hiring processes and systems to ensure a strong, sustainable talent pipeline.
  • Partnering with business leaders to anticipate manpower needs and align hiring strategies with business goals and growth plans.


Strategic HR Leadership:

  • Developing and executing HR strategies that align with the organization’s vision and growth plans.
  • Balancing operational excellence with long-term strategic objectives.


Organizational Development & Culture:

  • Designing and implementing initiatives to nurture a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven work culture.
  • Driving employee engagement and retention through programs that motivate and inspire teams.


HR Operations & Compliance:

  • Ensuring HR policies and practices are streamlined, compliant, and effectively communicated.
  • Overseeing performance management processes and employee relations.


Change Management:

  • Champion transformation initiatives and guiding the organization through periods of growth and change.


What you already have...


  • 12 to 18 years of HR experience with proven success in talent acquisition (especially field sales hiring) and process establishment
  • Experience from medical device companies & pharma/healthcare experience will be considered
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders
  • Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to HR challenges
  • Demonstrated ability to balance immediate execution needs with long-term strategic goals
