The platform innovatively addresses the key points of friction hindering the adoption of rooftop solar and other sustainable products through a digital lending platform combined with an online B2B marketplace and a tech enabled asset quality management system. Responsibiliti es: 1. Financial Reporting and Analysis: • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards. • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights into the company's financial performance. • Develop and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and opportunities. 2. Compliance and Risk Management: • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. • Implement and maintain effective internal controls to mitigate financial risks. • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory changes and requirements. 3. Budgeting and Forecasting: • Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable financial plans. • Provide ongoing financial forecasting to support strategic decision-making. • Monitor budget variances and implement corrective actions as necessary. 4. Treasury and Cash Management: • Oversee cash flow planning and ensure the availability of funds as needed. • Manage relationships with financial institutions and optimize banking arrangements. • Implement effective treasury strategies to maximize liquidity and minimize financial risk. 5. Audit Management: • Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring timely and accurate provision of financial information. • Address audit findings and implement corrective actions to enhance financial controls. • Work closely with external auditors to streamline the audit process. 6. Financial Systems and Technology: • Evaluate and implement financial systems that support the needs of a dynamic FinTech and NBFC startup. • Leverage technology to enhance financial reporting, automation, and efficiency. 7. Tax Management: • Develop and implement tax strategies that optimize the company's tax position while ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws. • Oversee the preparation and submission of all tax-related filings, including corporate income tax returns. 8. Investor Relations and MIS (Management Information System): • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with investors, providing timely and transparent communication on financial performance and strategic initiatives. • Collaborate with the executive team to develop investor presentations and materials for meetings and conferences. • Prepare and disseminate regular MIS reports, offering key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to support decision-making at various organizational levels. Key Requirements: • Degree in Accounting or equivalent. CPA, CIMA, CA, ACCA • Minimum 10 years of experience. • Salary budget is 25 LPA. • At least 5 years manager experience, mentoring and developing teams. • Startup experience will be an added advantage, demonstrating an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in a rapidly evolving entrepreneurial environment. • Candidate must possess a growth mindset, demonstrating a willingness to embrace challenges, learn from setbacks, and continuously seek opportunities for professional and organizational development. • A self-starter with an ownership mindset, capable of taking initiative and driving projects independently while taking full accountability for outcomes.
