Role Summary

The Finance Controller is responsible for overseeing the accounting & controllership functions across the group’s business entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, strong internal controls, compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards (local & global).

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Day1 closure of monthly, quarterly & yearly books of account for audit & reporting purpose
• Prepare, consolidate, and present financial statements in accordance with Ind AS /IFRS accounting standards
• Develop and manage robust internal controls; design and implement process improvements and automation to ensure efficiency, consistency, accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure statutory & regulatory compliance, timely submission of reports and disclosures in jurisdictions where we have business operations
• Key liaison for external and internal auditors, coordinating with teams for smooth completion of audit and timely resolution of findings and remediation of control weaknesses.
• P&L and Balance Sheet forecasting; work closely with FP&A to financial planning, identify cost savings opportunities, variance analysis and real time analysis of company wise spending.
• Lead, mentor, and develop finance teams (both local and in other geographies if applicable).
• Lead integration of all group entities into global ERP & process.
• Cost allocation activities, Account’s reconciliation, ownership of all financial statement schedules
• Updating of accounting policies and processes in line with latest financial reporting requirements, tax codes and corporate governance rules
• Establish robust frameworks to protect data and ensure compliance across the organisation

Qualifications & Competence

• Chartered Accountant with 10-12 years of experience, with exposure to global/ multi‐entity or multi‐country accounting requirements.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards: IFRS / Ind AS / US GAAP
• Experience in tax, transfer pricing, statutory compliance, and audits.
• Exposure to ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience in leading teams, delegate, mentor, and develop talent
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work within tight deadlines and high ethical standards.
