Job Description

FINANCE CONTROLLER Reporting to: Head of Finance / CFO Scope: Focusses on Fund Management and oversees internal control implementation, assists with budget preparation, ensures reporting compliance, and manages the transaction reporting process. Key Responsibilities: Fund Management and Reporting: Responsible for overseeing and managing the funds in the organization Budget Preparation: Assisting in the creation of the annual budget and monitoring its implementation. Financial Reporting: Ensuring accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Compliance: Making sure that all financial reporting complies with regulatory standards and internal policies. Manage and monitor Banking limits and requirements. Financial Management and Analysis : Involves the strategic planning and analysis of financial activities to ensure the company's financial health Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement Risk Management: Identifying financial risks and developing strategies to mitigate them Decision Support: Providing financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions MIS preparation for Management Corporate Tax Handling : Ensuring compliance with tax laws and optimizing the company's tax position: Tax Compliance: Ensuring that the company complies with all relevant tax regulations and filing requirements. Tax Planning: Developing strategies to minimize tax liabilities and take advantage of tax incentives Handling of Income Tax related matters and Assist CFO in hearings with CIT. Handling of scrutiny cases with IT, Service Tax and others. Treasury Management: Ensure sufficient liquidity for operations, paying attention to working capital management and debt servicing. Develop and implement cash flow forecasting models to ensure smooth operations and financial stability. Collation of data for Projects assigned specifically for monitoring EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS CA with at-least 12 or more years of experience RELEVANT EXPERIENCE Exposure into Operations Accounting is mandatory Excellent communication & presentation skills Working knowledge of SAP and process understanding, Experience in a multi-location, multi divisional set up with exposure to tight time schedules Ability to work under pressure. Should be able to work at multiple levels at the same time Knowledge of commercial laws and its application to service industry particularly aviation sector would be an added advantage. PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS & BEHAVIOUR Personal and High level of commitment and Integrity is a must. Should be a tough task master and must be able to lead from the front Internal Interactions: Intra BU, Inter-location coordination, peers, superiors and subordinates & senior management. External Interactions: Consultants / Auditors, Banks, Vendors, Customers, Statutory authorities Responsible and accountable for overall Quality, Safety and Security of operations.
