Job Description

As a Finance Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, and compliance to help management make timely and informed decisions that drive the company's operational and financial success. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements and management reports, aligning with both Envalior's global standards and local regulations - Ensure compliance with accounting standards such as Ind AS and IFRS - Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results to stakeholders - Oversee compliances of legal entity including Statutory Audit, Internal Financial Control, Internal Audit, Tax Audit, Income Tax return, and Transfer Pricing requirements. Liaise with auditors (internal, statutory, tax) and coordinate audit schedules - Conduct detailed financial analysis, including price and budget variances, to identify areas for improvement and cost control measures - Oversee end-to-end accounting operations and coordinate with Genpact (shared services) for process efficiency - Develop and implement robust financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with IFRS, Indian accounting standards, tax laws, and regulation - Perform balance sheet monitoring, financial variance analysis, and understanding of open items Qualifications Required: - Minimum 3 years of relevant experience - Complete Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory Additional Details of the Company: Envalior is a unique materials powerhouse launched in early 2023, bringing together two established global materials players: DSM Engineering Materials and LANXESS High Performance Materials.
