Financial Controller

As a Financial Controller at our company in Ahmedabad, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective budget management, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Your strong background in accounting, finance, and management will be essential in implementing and maintaining robust financial controls. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Financial Reporting:** - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data. - Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting. - **Budgeting and Forecasting:** - Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts. - Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts. - Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions. - **Accounting Operations:** - Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes. - Maintain and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. - **Internal Controls:** - Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets. - Ensure compliance with all financial and tax regulations. - Coordinate and support external audits. - **Team Leadership:** - Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. - **Strategic Planning:** - Support the CFO in financial planning and strategy. - Provide financial insights and recommendations for business growth and efficiency. - Participate in long-term business planning and analysis. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA preferred. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 4 years in a managerial role. - Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle). - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong leadership and team management abilities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - High attention to detail and accuracy. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. - Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting techniques. - Experience with ERP systems implementation and management.
