Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Financial Analyst (CA) to join our team in the design industry. The ideal candidate will combine strong financial expertise with analytical capabilities to support strategic decision-making, enhance profitability, and ensure financial compliance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, providing insights on budgets, forecasts, cost structures, and financial performance to drive growth and efficiency across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support project evaluations and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor budgets, track variances, and recommend corrective measures.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, highlighting trends and actionable insights.
• Calculate product costs to determine if pricing is appropriate, ensuring all expenses are covered and profit margins are sustainable.
• Develop and maintain financial forecasts and models for long-term planning.
• Analyse cash inflows and outflows to ensure financial stability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams to assess project costs, identify savings, and improve profitability.
• Evaluate sales performance metrics and provide insights to support business development efforts.
• Generate financial reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) with high accuracy.
• Support month-end closing, data reconciliation, and ad-hoc financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and internal control standards.
• Drive system and process improvements to optimize reporting and data management.

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with proven experience of 2-4 years as a Financial Analyst.
• Strong background in financial modelling, forecasting, cost analysis, and reporting.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Data Validation, Charts, INDEX/MATCH).
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to evaluate pricing strategies, cost appropriateness, and profit margins effectively.
• Strong communication skills to explain financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
• Experience in the design or creative industry preferred.
