Finance Manager

Job Title: Finance Manager Department: Finance Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / General Manager Location: Baywatch Resort, Sernabatim, South Goa Type: Full-Time Job Summary: The Head of Finance is responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, risk management, and compliance. This role ensures that the financial health of the organization supports strategic goals and provides actionable insights to executive leadership. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals. Lead long-term budgeting and forecasting processes. Evaluate and advise on the financial impact of business initiatives. Financial Management & Reporting: Oversee preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and regulatory requirements. Manage cash flow, treasury operations, and investment activities. Leadership & Team Management: Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team. Collaborate with department heads to support business planning and decision-making. Risk Management & Compliance: Monitor and manage financial risk, including currency, credit, and operational risk. Ensure internal controls are in place and adhered to. Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies. Cost Management & Efficiency: Review cost structures and drive operational efficiencies. Implement financial systems, tools, and practices to enhance productivity. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred). Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or ACCA certification is highly desirable. Minimum 5 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles. Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.). Deep understanding of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
