Job Title: Event Coordinator Location: Baywatch Resort, Sernabatim, South Goa Job Type: Full-Time Department: Events Reports to: General Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Event Coordinator to plan, organize, and execute a variety of events, from small meetings to large-scale corporate functions. The ideal candidate will be skilled in vendor coordination, timeline management, and ensuring seamless event experiences from concept through completion. Key Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, décor, entertainment, registration, and logistics. Work with clients or internal teams to understand event goals, budgets, and timelines. Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and quality services. Create and manage detailed event timelines, checklists, and budgets. Supervise event setup, execution, and breakdown. Handle attendee communications, registrations, and special requests. Monitor event progress and make real-time adjustments to ensure a smooth experience. Conduct post-event evaluations and generate reports to measure success and identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with health, safety, insurance, and legal regulations. Maintain accurate records and manage event inventories and materials. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field (preferred). Proven experience as an event coordinator or similar role. Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
