Front Office Associate

Job Title: Front Office Associate Location: Baywatch Resort, Sernabatim, South Goa Department: Front Office Reports to: Front Office Manager Job Purpose: The Front Office Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service at the front desk. This role includes welcoming guests, managing check-in and check-out procedures, handling reservations, answering inquiries, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for all visitors. Key Responsibilities: Greet and welcome guests promptly and professionally. Perform check-in/check-out procedures efficiently and accurately. Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications. Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle walk-in inquiries. Address guest complaints and resolve issues or escalate as needed. Provide information about the property, local area, services, and amenities. Maintain an organized and clean front desk area. Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met. Key Skills and Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure. Customer service orientation and problem-solving skills. Basic computer skills and familiarity with property management systems (PMS) or booking software. Qualifications and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent (required); hospitality training or diploma (preferred). Prior experience in front office, customer service, or hospitality (1+ year preferred). Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
