Duty Manager

Job Title: Duty Manager Location: Baywatch Resort, Sernabatim, South Goa Department: Front Office Reports to: Front Office Manager Job Purpose: The Duty Manager oversees daily operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the business during their shift. They act as the primary point of contact for staff and customers, resolve operational issues, enforce policies, and maintain service standards. Key Responsibilities: Supervise all on-duty staff and ensure adherence to operational policies and procedures. Serve as the point of escalation for customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Monitor performance, appearance, and behavior of staff and provide feedback or guidance when needed. Coordinate and communicate between departments to maintain operational flow. Ensure health, safety, and security protocols are followed at all times. Maintain records, prepare reports, and communicate key updates to senior management. Handle emergency situations and make decisions independently when senior leadership is unavailable. Support training and onboarding of new employees. Key Skills and Attributes: Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Attention to detail and a proactive approach. Knowledge of relevant regulations and operational procedures. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays. Qualifications and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent (required); relevant degree or diploma (preferred). 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in [industry].
