Position: Finance Manager

Location: Mumbai, India

Experience Required: 15 years

Purpose of the Role :-

The Finance Manager will play a key leadership role in guiding the company’s financial decisions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving business value through strategic financial planning and control. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in the travel or airline industry, with proven expertise in financial management, strategic decision-making, and stakeholder coordination.

Education Qualification :-

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) is required
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification strongly preferred

Experience Required :-

• Minimum 15 years of overall experience in the travel or airline domain
• At least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role overseeing financial functions

Key Responsibilities :-

Financial Planning & Strategy

• Lead the development and execution of the company’s financial strategy, aligning with organizational goals and growth objectives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Conduct scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Drive financial performance monitoring by establishing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Present regular financial reports, insights, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international financial regulations and tax laws.
• Oversee internal controls, audits, and financial policies to maintain transparency and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely filings and adherence to statutory requirements.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

• Maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, auditors, and other external partners.
• Support financing strategies, including debt and equity arrangements, to ensure adequate funding and liquidity.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with operations, sales, and leadership teams to support business objectives with data-driven financial insights.
• Support valuation exercises for business expansion, acquisitions, or strategic partnerships.

Industry Focus

• Leverage deep understanding of the travel or airline sector to provide market-specific financial guidance.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape impacting financial decisions.
