About the Role

Accounts & Finance Executive

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation).
• Ensure accurate and timely posting of journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Maintain books of accounts in accordance with accounting standards.

2. Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Analyze financial data, highlight variances, and provide actionable insights.
• Support the preparation of MIS reports for management review.

3. FMCG-Specific Responsibilities

• Monitor trade schemes, distributor claims, and discounts.
• Manage stock accounting, inventory valuation, and reconciliation with warehouses.
• Track sales, promotions, and product margins specific to FMCG operations.

4. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in creating annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Track budget vs. actuals and report deviations.

5. Taxation & Compliance

• Handle GST, TDS, PT, and other statutory compliances.
• Prepare and file returns within due dates.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.

6. Vendor & Customer Management

• Manage vendor payments, credit cycles, and outstanding follow-ups.
• Resolve billing issues and coordinate with sales and supply chain teams.

7. Internal Controls

• Ensure adherence to internal financial controls.
• Develop and implement process improvements for better efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, or related field (MBA/CA Inter preferred).
• Minimum

  5 years of experience in Accounts & Finance

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
• Hands-on experience with Tally ERP / SAP / Oracle or similar accounting tools.
• Excellent Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, MIS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
