Job Title: Finance Account Specialist

Location: Balewadi High-Street, Pune

Department: Finance & Accounts

Reporting To: Finance Manager / Managing Director

Employment Type: Full-time


Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Account Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end closing, and ensuring compliance with statutory and internal policies. This role requires strong analytical skills, working knowledge of accounting software, and a collaborative mindset.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliation tasks
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Process vendor invoices, staff reimbursements, and employee claims in a timely manner
  • Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Coordinate with external auditors and support audit-related documentation
  • Ensure GST, TDS, and other tax compliances as per applicable laws
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all financial transactions
  • Monitor and manage petty cash, bank reconciliations, and cash flow statements
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams for budget tracking, PO management, and internal cost controls


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance)
  • 0–2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Solid knowledge of Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or any ERP system
  • Familiarity with Indian taxation (GST, TDS), payroll basics, and statutory compliance
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
  • Good communication and time management skills


Preferred Qualities:

  • Experience in a mid-sized or MNC environment
  • Knowledge of FEMA, RBI remittance compliance, and import-export documentation
  • Exposure to project-based cost allocation or manufacturing company finance
