Job Description

Role Overview: The Executive – Factory HR will be responsible for handling day-to-day HR processes related to factory and workshop employees, including recruitment, attendance, compliance, welfare, and engagement. The role plays a critical part in supporting smooth factory operations and ensuring that blue-collar employees work in a structured, compliant, and motivated environment. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with labor laws, on-ground HR administration, and worker management in a fashion or manufacturing setup. Key Responsibilities: • Manage end-to-end HR operations for factory/workshop employees including onboarding, documentation, ID generation, and exits. • Oversee attendance, shift management, leave tracking, and wage inputs using biometric and ERP systems. • Ensure compliance with labor laws (PF, ESI, Shops & Establishment Act, etc.) and maintain all statutory records and documentation. • Address grievances and resolve worker-related issues in coordination with the production and admin teams. • Implement employee engagement programs, welfare activities, and basic training initiatives tailored to factory staff. • Coordinate with payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of blue-collar wages and incentives. • Support audits, inspections, and documentation required for factory HR compliance and third-party assessments. • Maintain updated HR MIS for blue-collar employees including attrition, manpower status, and workforce movement. • Work closely with security and admin teams to ensure safety, discipline, and smooth functioning of factory premises. Profile Requirements: • Strong understanding of labor law compliance and statutory regulations (PF, ESI, minimum wages, etc.). • Hands-on experience managing blue-collar or workshop employees and HR admin responsibilities. • Proficient in MS Excel, HRMS/ERP systems, and attendance/payroll software. • Good interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with factory teams. • Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Labor Welfare, or Industrial Relations Show more Show less
