Project Coordinator (EV Workbench Manufacturing)

Role Overview

Project Coordinator

 

Key Responsibilities


Project Planning & Execution

  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and milestones in alignment with ISIEINDIA’s EV roadmap.
  • Coordinate design, manufacturing, and testing of EV workbenches and subsystems.


Innovation & Development

  • Lead design, development, and validation of

    battery packs, BMS, motors, controllers, chargers

    , and other EV components.
  • Drive

    embedded systems and VCU software integration

    for product readiness.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for test failures and implement corrective/preventive measures.


Monitoring & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate documentation (production reports, design approvals, dispatch records).
  • Ensure adherence to

    safety regulations, labor compliance, and industry standards

    .
  • Track performance metrics and prepare outcome-based monthly reports.


Operational Support

  • Oversee waste management and resource optimization, ensuring quarterly scrap disposal cycles.
  • Represent ISIEINDIA in

    industry networking events

    and support technical skill upgradation initiatives.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Education:

    B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Experience:

    2–4 years of experience in

    project coordination, EV R&D, or manufacturing

    .


Technical Expertise:

  • Strong in

    Electrical systems, Embedded Electronics, and Networking

    .
  • Experience with

    VCU software integration

    and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of

    powertrain design and testing

    .
  • Technical Electrical & Electronics Fundamentals: Strong grasp of circuits, signal flow, and motor drive basics.
  • Microcontrollers & Controllers: Hands-on with embedded systems, MCU programming, PWM control, inverter logic.
  • Channel Protocols: Expertise in UART, CAN, SPI, I2C, LIN for EV applications.
  • Motor & Battery Integration: End-to-end understanding of motor-control loops, torque-speed characteristics, and battery interfacing.
  • Semiconductors: Knowledge of power electronics (MOSFET, IGBT, SiC/GaN devices) for motor drives and chargers.


Other Skills:

  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and deliver results.

 

Software Tools:

  • AutoCAD (2D Motor Design)
  • Eagle (PCB & 2D Electrical Design)
  • MATLAB/Simulink (System modeling & simulation)
  • Basic String Calculations (battery pack configuration & performance)
