Job Description

Hiring for MNC,

Equipment Engineer

Design, select, and implement equipment and tools for manufacturing or laboratory operations.
Collaborate with R&D, production, and process engineers to develop equipment specifications.
Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis for new equipment.
Oversee installation, calibration, and commissioning of new equipment.
Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance schedules are followed.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures, breakdowns, and performance issues.
Analyze equipment performance data to improve efficiency, safety, and reliability.
Recommend upgrades, modifications, or replacement of outdated equipment.
Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure equipment complies with industry standards, quality, and safety regulations.
Develop and maintain equipment documentation, manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Train operators and technicians on proper equipment use and safety protocols.
Liaise with equipment suppliers, service providers, and contractors.
Negotiate purchase agreements and evaluate vendor performance.
Support procurement and budget management for equipment-related projects.
Research emerging technologies and recommend new equipment solutions.
Support automation and digital transformation initiatives in production.
