Equipment Engineer

Responsibilities:

Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Maintains current records on equipment manufacturers'. technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues. Studies equipment performance and reliability. Establishes programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process. Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations. Defines and writes preventative maintenance schedules. 0-3 years of experience

Very good knowledge on both Linux and Windows operating systems. NW/IT functional/ infra knowledge is important to know

Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro, electronics and mechanical equipment used in LABs

Manage all the advanced ATE machines, Advantest tester,Mag5,mag2, chamber and oven type of equipment/tester

AMC/PMC Proactively drive the maintenances through involving 3rd part vendor if required or any Micron internal stakeholder within right schedule –

Perform calibrations on area equipment – Quarterly/Half-yearly

Installing required SWs/update, Timely reboot, DUT checks, Session management, Network Connectivity etc. – Daily Checks

Load/unload parts & its corresponding binary from tester

Assist engineer on projects to improve overall test equipment efficiency and effectiveness

Diagnose equipment problems and implement solutions

Infrastructure support – Select and utilize accurate test equipment and tools & resolve any bottlenecks or issues around it

Respond quickly and positively to all Engineering Teams, reprioritize work when customer needs arise

Ensure record keeping/documentation in equipment tracking system in confluence or similar collaboration tool

Follow safety procedures and area work rules including proper PPE, lockout and chemical safety

Supports a culture of TPM including TPM metrics,6S metrics, IATF / ISO Lab standards

Provides effective and timely support to resolve equipment issues and is highly engaged in key problem resolution
