Email Marketing cum Graphic Designer (UK/ US experience preferred)

We are a UK based company and seeking a talented and versatile Email Marketing cum Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing team. This unique role combines strategic email campaign management with creative graphic design and video editing expertise. The ideal candidate will be passionate about crafting engaging email experiences and visually stunning assets that drive customer engagement, conversions, and brand loyalty. You will be responsible for the entire email marketing lifecycle, from strategy and execution to design and analysis, while also contributing broadly to the company's graphic design and video content needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Email Marketing Strategy & Execution:

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive email marketing campaigns (promotional, transactional, lifecycle, newsletters) aligned with overall marketing objectives.
• Segment email lists and tailor content to specific audience groups for maximum impact.
• Set up, test, and deploy email campaigns using an Email Service Provider (ESP).
• Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, CTAs, and send times to optimize performance.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with email marketing best practices, industry trends, and anti-spam regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).

Graphic Design & Visual Content Creation:

• Design visually compelling and on-brand email templates, banners, and other visual assets for email campaigns.
• Create a wide range of marketing collateral including, but not limited to, social media graphics, web banners, landing page visuals, presentations, and print materials as needed.
• Ensure all graphic designs are consistent with brand guidelines and maintain a high level of aesthetic quality.
• Utilize design software effectively to produce high-quality visual content.

Video Editing & Production:

• Edit and produce engaging video content for email campaigns, social media, and other digital platforms.
• Apply motion graphics, visual effects, color correction, and audio mixing to video projects.
• Ensure video outputs are optimized for various platforms and meet technical specifications.

Content & Copy Collaboration:

• Collaborate with the content team to ensure compelling and concise copy that complements visual designs and aligns with campaign goals.
• Advise on visual storytelling and user experience within email communications.

Reporting & Optimization:

• Provide regular reports on email marketing KPIs (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, unsubscribe rates).
• Use insights from data to continuously optimize email design and campaign performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with marketing, sales, product, and other teams to understand their needs and support integrated campaigns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2-5 years of proven experience in a dual role, specifically focusing on email marketing and graphic design.
• Demonstrable video editing experience, including creating short-form content for digital platforms.
• Demonstrable experience with major Email Service Providers (ESPs) such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Constant Contact, Klaviyo, etc.
• Strong portfolio showcasing graphic design and video editing work for digital and print media, especially email.
• Experience with A/B testing and email campaign optimization techniques.

Skills & Competencies:

Email Marketing Expertise:

• Proficiency in email marketing platforms and automation tools.
• Strong understanding of email deliverability, list management, and segmentation.
• Knowledge of email analytics and reporting.

Graphic Design Proficiency:

• Expertise in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma).
• Strong understanding of design principles (typography, color theory, layout, visual hierarchy).
• Ability to create engaging visuals that adhere to brand guidelines and convert.

Video Editing Proficiency (Updated):

• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, .
• Basic understanding of motion graphics and audio editing for video content

Storytelling: Ability to translate concepts and messages into compelling visual and video narratives.

Technical Skills:

• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email template customization and troubleshooting is a plus.
• Familiarity with responsive design principles for various devices.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions for campaign optimization.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate design concepts and campaign strategies.

Creativity & Innovation: Ability to generate fresh ideas and creative solutions for visual and email content.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous in design execution, campaign setup, and data analysis.

Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
