Rangsutra is seeking a highly motivated and experienced E-Commerce Cum Merchandising Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our website and other online marketplaces ensuring that they operate efficiently, effectively, and in alignment with our company's mission and values. The Ecommerce Cum Marketplace Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day merchandising operations, digital marketing relationships, website management, product listings, data analytics, tactical promotions and overall growth of our online platform.
1.Website Management:
· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company's e-commerce platform on shopify – payment gateway, order management systems, plug ins, apps etc
· Ensure a seamless and user-friendly online shopping experience. Optimize end-to-end e-commerce journey for our customers, from lead generation to conversion and post-purchase follow-up.
2.E-commerce Strategy:
· Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies aligned with business goals.
· Identify opportunities for growth, improvement, and innovation within the e-commerce space.
3.Digital Marketing Tools
· Knowledge of digital marketing tools such as SEO, SEM, Email marketing, social media and paid advertising for maximum impact, driving revenue and increase ROI
4.Catalogue Management:
· Oversee the creation and maintenance of product listings, ensuring accurate
and appealing product descriptions, images, and pricing.
· Creating Line sheets & Buying sheet
· Implement product categorisation and tagging for enhanced search and navigation.
5. ERP
· Creating product codes, pricing and listings on ERP.
· Work with the production and accounts team on billings and ERP
6.Inventory Management:
· Coordinate with the operations team to manage product availability and
inventory levels.
· Implement strategies to optimize product turnover and reduce stockouts.
7.Stock distribution
· Plan, execute stock distributions across all ecommece market places, -exhibitions, website, other market places
8.Marketing and Promotion:
· Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and initiatives to drive traffic and sales on the online platform as well as other channels of sales – exhibitions, stores etc.
9.Data Analysis and Reporting:
· Analyze data and generate reports weekly to track e-commerce performance,
· Utilize data and analytics to assess the performance of the marketplace.
· Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs)
· identify trends and make data-driven recommendations for improvement and recommend improvements. Analysis sell through of collections. Develop future product and market strategies and briefs basis the same.
10. Customer Support:
· Address customer inquiries and concerns related to products and vendors,
ensuring a positive shopping experience. Across all platforms in a timely and efficient manner.
11. Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and customer service.
Collaborate with external partners, agencies, and vendors as needed.
· Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, merchandising or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
· 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or related roles
· Knowledge of Shopify platform and how it is used and managed for e-commerce
· Experience in managing e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, ETC.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive and adaptable attitude.
· Strong understanding of online retail, digital marketing, and e-commerce trends.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to use data for decision-making.
· Knowledge of artisanal and handmade product markets is a plus.
· Passion for ethical and sustainable practices in the business.
· Should be a team player and can liaison and collaborate with teams.
