Rangsutra is a company owned by a community of over 2000 artisans across rural

India. Our artisans join us from villages across India, primarily from Rajasthan, Uttar

artisans and markets, change and continuity, as well as tradition and contemporary

Job Summary

Communications Executive

This is a role for someone who loves words, visuals, culture, and design — and can weave them together to create meaningful connections with our audience.

The key responsibilities includes

1. Brand Messaging:

a.      Build a strong brand language and identity with distinctive visuals and imagery

b.      Ensure consistency of brand messaging across all communication channels.

c.      Craft compelling narratives that resonate with the target audience and align with the brand's values.

 

2. Content Creation:

a.      Create high-quality visual communication content and text for various platforms, including digital, print, website and social media (instagram, facebook, pinterest, linkedin, youtube, spotify etc), performance marketing

b.      Conceptualise and execute photoshoots and videography for brand-building, campaigns and products  - both in house as well as work with external agencies

c. Collaborate with external partners, agencies, and vendors as needed.

d.      Create content for performance marketing, emailers blogs, pod casts.

e.      Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and initiatives to drive traffic and sales on the online platform as well as other channels of sales – exhibitions, stores etc.

f.        Collaborate with internal teams to design the photo-shoots and travel to the field whenever necessary to create content that reflects the brand's voice and identity.

 

3. Content Planning, Creating Calendar, Scheduling and Posting

a. Work with the marketing team to create a monthly social media calendar across all platforms – Instagram (posts and stories), facebook, linkedin, pinterest, email, whatsapp etc

 4. Community Building:

a.      Cultivate and engage with Rangsutra's online community.

b.      Identify and design the collaborate with influencers, bloggers, and brand ambassadors whom Rangsutra can work with to build brand awareness, customer engagement, traffic to website and conversions.

 

5. Campaign Management:

a.      Plan and execute social media campaigns that align with product launches, promotions, and events.

g.       Monitor, analyse and be responsible for campaign performance on metrics of increase in number of followers, engagement with the brand, leading traffic to the website and providing insights for continuous improvement..

 

 6. Digital Marketing Tools

a.      Knowledge of digital marketing tools such as Email marketing, social media, pod casts, WhatsApp marketing and paid advertising for maximum impact, driving revenue and increase ROI.

b.      Contribute and support in management of the brand's online presence, including social media channels and the company website.

c.      Monitor online conversations and trends, responding strategically as needed.

 

 7. Catalogue Management:

 Oversee the creation and maintenance of product listings, ensuring accurate

 and appealing product descriptions, images,


8. Social Listening:

a.      Stay abreast of industry trends, customer feedback, and social media conversations.

b.      Utilize insights to adapt strategies and stay relevant in the ever-evolving social landscape.

 

9. Brand Monitoring:

a.      Monitor and report on brand performance metrics.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in brand communications, content creation, or social media.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Are comfortable writing long-form and short-form content (social captions, articles, press notes, etc.)
  • Are a strong communicator with a sharp eye for aesthetics.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics, Canva/Adobe tools, content management systems, identifying trends
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Interest in sustainability, slow fashion, or handmade products is a big plus.


Preferred skills

  • Eye for design and aesthetics.
  • Understanding of SEO and content performance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Have a passion for design, crafts, culture, and storytelling.
  • Understand digital trends and how to translate them for a creative brand.
