Job Description

Vayu Farms is a new-age FMCG brand preparing to launch a range of mindful, flavour-driven snacking products. We are entering the market through online channels, with a strong focus on marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, BigBasket, Zepto, and other grocery aggregators.

As we build our foundation, we are looking for an E-commerce Manager who can set up our entire online ecosystem from scratch and drive early-stage growth.


Role Overview

You will work directly with the founder and play a pivotal part in shaping Vayu Farms’ digital-first strategy.


Key Responsibilities

Marketplace Launch & Setup

  • Create and launch product listings across Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, BigBasket, Zepto, and emerging platforms.
  • Prepare an SEO listing: titles, bullets, keywords, A+ content, and product imagery.
  • Set up category approvals, compliance uploads, FSSAI documentation, and backend configurations.
  • Build SOPs for pricing, promotions, and catalogue updates.

  • Website Readiness (Shopify)

    • Assist in planning the D2C website structure, content, and product pages.
    • Support integration of website analytics tools (GA4, Meta Pixel).


    Performance Marketing Coordination

    • Work with the founder and agencies/freelancers to set up initial ads.
    • Track performance on Amazon Ads, Meta Ads, and Google Ads once campaigns begin.
    • Maintain weekly dashboards (ROAS, CAC, visibility, CTR).


    Operations & Logistics Setup

    • Work with 3PL partners (Shiprocket/Delhivery) to set up dispatch workflows.
    • Build and manage order fulfilment SOPs for early orders.
    • Set up systems to track RTO %, NDRs, shipping cost optimisation, and inventory accuracy.


    Data, Reporting & Insights

    • Build the brand’s first MIS dashboards covering:
    • Marketplace sales
    • Inventory
    • Returns/cancellations
    • SKU-level contribution
    • Evaluate early trends and recommend actions (pricing, packaging, variants, bundles).


    Content Coordination

    • Work with designers to develop listing images, lifestyle content, and marketplace creatives.
    • Assist in shaping the first marketing calendar for launch and festive seasons.


    Requirements

    • 2–4 years of experience in

      FMCG e-commerce

      (mandatory).
    • Must have hands-on experience launching or managing FMCG/Food products online.
    • Strong understanding of Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, and grocery category nuances.
    • Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills.
    • Ability to create structure where none exists, solve new problems, and build processes from zero.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
