Role Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated E-Commerce Manager to lead and grow our online business. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the Studio Artemist Shopify website ensuring seamless performance, optimized user experience, high product visibility, and increased conversions. This role combines website management, digital strategy, analytics, and creative problem-solving for scaling our e-commerce presence.


Key Responsibilities


Manage, update, and optimize the Shopify website with new products, collections, and landing pages.


Improve the online shopping experience smooth navigation, faster performance, intuitive UI/UX, and mobile responsiveness.


Work closely with the design & marketing teams to execute new features, brand campaigns, and seasonal promotions.


Implement SEO best practices to improve organic traffic and search rankings.


Track store analytics conversion rates, traffic sources, cart abandonment, customer behavior patterns and make data-driven improvements.


Manage product inventory, pricing changes, discounts, and order workflows.


Coordinate with development and design vendors for advanced Shopify tasks or custom sections when needed.


Ensure website hygiene - broken links, product errors, misaligned layouts, or functionality issues.


Experiment and implement growth opportunities: bundles, upsells, cross-sells, subscriptions, automations, loyalty programs, email flows, etc.


Stay updated on e-commerce trends, competitors, Shopify apps, and digital tools relevant for business growth.


Requirements


  • Minimum 1 year of proven experience managing Shopify websites or e-commerce platforms.


  • Strong understanding of Shopify backend, theme customization, and Liquid basics.


  • Working knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics / GA4, Meta Pixel, and conversion optimization.


  • Understanding of UI/UX principles, website layouts, and mobile-first design.


  • Familiarity with Shopify Apps (reviews, subscriptions, upsells, wishlist, AR/3D viewer, etc.).


  • Experience in managing product catalogs, imagery, variants, and pricing.


  • Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to work under deadlines.


  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.


  • E-commerce or D2C industry experience is mandatory.
