Hiring: Duty Manager (Front Office & General Operations) – Woodbourne Resort in Nuvem, South Goa

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and guest-centric Duty Manager to oversee Front Office Operations and provide overall supervision of daily resort activities in beautiful Goa.


Key Responsibilities


Oversee all Front Office operations 

1) (Reception, Concierge, Concierge Services, Guest Relations) to ensure seamless guest experiences from check-in to check-out.


2) Manage guest relations, handle escalations, and ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty.


3) Supervise and support resort staff & monitor KPIs (occupancy, average daily rate, revenue per available room, guest satisfaction).

Ensure accurate cash handling, billing, and posting of charges; supervise night audit process. 


4) Monitor safety and security procedures; ensure compliance with health, safety, and resort policies. Conduct regular briefings, training, and performance coaching for front office and related staff.


5) Prepare daily and weekly reporting for senior management (occupancy forecast, guest feedback, incident reports).

Handle VIP guests, special requests, and group/ wedding/event arrivals with professionalism.


Requirements


Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience).


Proven experience in hotel or resort front office management (minimum 3-5 years; resort experience preferred)


Strong leadership and team management skills; ability to motivate and coach staff.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English; knowledge of Hindi, Konkani, or other regional languages is a plus.


Working knowledge of front office systems (PMS), housekeeping coordination, revenue management basics, and night audit processes.


Ability to multitask, prioritize, and resolve conflicts efficiently.

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
