Director Projects

Location: Delhi, Reports to: Managing Director / CEO

The Project Director will lead end-to-end project delivery across design, execution and operations for multiple large-scale design and build projects undetaken by Company. This role requires strong commercial acumen, technical depth, and leadership capability to oversee project delivery with focus on profitability, design integrity, client satisfaction, and team performance. The Project Director will play a central role in shaping delivery systems, driving operational excellence, and supporting the company’s growth strategy.

1. Strategic and Financial Ownership

• Lead project planning and execution aligned with business goals.
• Own project P&L — from budgeting and forecasting to margin optimization and cost control.
• Align annual operating plans and capex with product and market strategy.

2. Design-to-Delivery Management

• Oversee the full design and delivery lifecycle — concept to handover.
• Lead design reviews, value engineering, and consultant coordination to ensure quality, cost, and schedule adherence.
• Champion digital workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.

3. Process and Governance

• Implement and leverage existing processes and workflows to ensure predictability and improve delivery speed.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and sustainability standards.

4. Client and Stakeholder Management

• Lead the client relationships at the highest level alongwith Managing Director
• Build trust through proactive communication, transparent reporting, and issue resolution.
• Maintain high client satisfaction and long-term partnerships

5. Team Leadership and Capability Building

• Build and mentor a high-performing team of project managers, architects, engineers, and site managers.
• Define clear career paths, performance goals, and succession plans for all direct and indirect teams.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

6. Performance Metrics and Reporting

• Define and monitor key delivery KPIs: project margins, schedule adherence, change order rates, client satisfaction, and team utilization.
• Drive data-backed decision-making and continuous performance reviews.
  

Experience:

• 15–20 years of experience in project delivery within design & build, architecture-led construction, or real estate development organizations.
• Proven record of managing complex, high-value projects with full P&L accountability.
• Exposure to integrated project delivery models and multidisciplinary teams.

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
