Director of Partnerships & Fundraising

.This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and scale corporate social responsibility (CSR) fundraising and strategic partnerships for a mission-driven organization improving access to primary healthcare in underserved regions. You will develop and maintain high-value relationships with corporate, philanthropic, and HNI partners, drive innovative fundraising strategies, and oversee proposal development, impact reporting, and compliance. The position requires a balance of strategic thinking, relationship management, and operational execution, with a clear focus on achieving ambitious fundraising targets. You will also collaborate closely with marketing, program, and finance teams to elevate the organization’s brand and ensure measurable impact. This role allows you to influence health outcomes at scale while building meaningful connections with partners across India.
Accountabilities
- Identify, research, and engage corporate CSR programs, foundations, and HNI networks aligned with healthcare, rural development, and digital innovation.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of at least 30 active CSR prospects, targeting annual fundraising goals of 5 crore.
- Develop and deliver compelling proposals, grant applications, and strategic pitches tailored to funder priorities, ensuring compliance with CSR regulations.
- Manage long-term partnerships, providing regular updates, impact reporting, and facilitating site visits to strengthen donor confidence and retention.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to showcase the organization’s impact through thought leadership, case studies, webinars, and CSR-focused campaigns.
- Track, analyse, and optimise fundraising metrics, maintaining dashboards, CRM data, and organisational knowledge for future campaigns.
- Ensure full compliance with India’s Companies Act, NITI Aayog CSR-1 registration, and relevant tax regulations.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of progressive fundraising experience in India, with at least 5 years dedicated to corporate CSR fundraising.
- Proven track record of raising 5 crore+ annually from CSR or institutional funders and managing 10+ partnerships simultaneously.
- Deep knowledge of India’s CSR regulations, Companies Act 2013, CSR-1 registration, and philanthropic ecosystem.
- Experience engaging corporate decision-makers, ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNI), and HNIs for impact giving.
- Strong proposal writing, storytelling, and presentation skills with the ability to distill complex concepts for varied stakeholders.
- Proficiency with HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Excel, Google Sheets, and digital fundraising tools.
- Excellent project management, multitasking, and analytical skills to manage a large pipeline and optimize fundraising performance.
