Job Description

The Deputy Manager will support departmental leadership in managing daily operations, improving performance, and ensuring adherence to industry standards in the automobile sector. This role involves strategic planning, team supervision, process optimization, and coordination across departments to ensure the highest levels of efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Manager in planning and executing operational strategies for achieving departmental goals.
  • Monitor daily operations, ensuring adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Involved in training & development initiatives for team members.
  • Handle escalated issues & provide resolutions.
  • Play a role in budget planning, resource allocation & financial oversight.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor team members to improve performance.
  • Analyze key performance metrics and suggest improvements for process efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and environmental regulations.
  • Manage customer queries and resolve escalations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare and present regular performance and progress reports to senior management.
  • Support in vendor management and procurement processes when required.
  • Stay updated with technological advancements and trends in the automobile sector.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the automobile industry; at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems, processes, and quality standards (e.g., ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949).
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities
  • Freshers are also welcome

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
