Job Description


  • The role involves working closely with clients in the healthcare analytics domain to deliver data-driven insights through advanced BI tools and data modeling.
  • The candidate will act as a bridge between business and technology — gathering requirements, developing dashboards, and providing strategic recommendations using SQL, Looker, and BigQuery.


Roles & Responsibilities


  • Conduct daily client calls to understand requirements, gather feedback, and provide progress updates.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business problems into analytical solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Looker dashboards and LookML data models for dynamic visualization and reporting
  • Write and optimize SQL queries in BigQuery for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
  • Build and manage relationship models and ETL processes to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
  • Perform data validation and quality assurance, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and reliability of all reports.
  • Analyze complex medical and healthcare datasets, identifying key insights, trends, and performance metrics.
  • Present analytical findings through PowerPoint presentations with clear storytelling and actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline data workflows and enhance BI performance.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis requests, automating repetitive tasks using Python where necessary.
  • Maintain documentation for dashboards, KPIs, and data logic to ensure transparency and reusability.
  • Adhere to data governance, compliance, and privacy protocols within the medical analytics domain.


Essential Skills (Must-Have)


  • SQL – Strong command over data extraction, joins, aggregations, and optimization (preferably in BigQuery).
  • Looker / LookML – Proven experience in dashboard development, data modeling, and performance optimization.
  • PowerPoint – Ability to convert analytical insights into compelling client presentations.
  • BI & ETL Knowledge – Understanding of relationship models, data pipelines, and end-to-end BI flow.
  • Analytical Thinking – Ability to interpret data patterns, trends, and derive meaningful insights.
  • Client Communication – Excellent verbal and written communication for daily client interaction and requirement gathering.


Good-to-Have Skills

  • Excel – For ad-hoc data checks, pivot analysis, and performance tracking.
  • SAAS Product Exposure – Familiarity with cloud BI environments and SaaS data systems.
  • Healthcare / Medical Analytics Domain Experience – Understanding of healthcare metrics, patient data, and compliance standards.
  • BigQuery Optimization Techniques – Familiarity with cost-efficient query handling and partitioning.
