Job Description

Job Title: Branch Credit Manager

Department: Credit
Location: Bikaner and nearby towns Nokha, Dungargarh, Lunkarnsar, etc.
Reporting To: Area Credit Manager / Cluster Credit Manager

Role Objective:

To ensure end-to-end credit evaluation, PD visits, and analysis for all loan applications while maintaining high portfolio quality through proactive management of branch collections (18 MOB cases) and operational efficiency. The Branch Credit Manager will also support the Branch Manager in achieving collection targets and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Credit & Risk Assessment

  • Conduct 100% PD (Personal Discussion) visits for all customer files received at the branch.
  • Perform detailed credit appraisal and financial analysis of applicants to assess repayment capacity, creditworthiness, and authenticity of information.
  • Review customer documents, bank statements, and financials to ensure compliance with credit policy.
  • Prepare and recommend credit decisions as per delegated authority levels.
  • Maintain TAT compliance for all credit assessments.

Portfolio & Collection Management

  • Manage and monitor branch collection performance, specifically focusing on 18 MOB (Months on Book) cases to minimize delinquencies.
  • Coordinate with the Collections and Operations team to ensure timely EMI recovery and follow-up on overdue accounts.
  • Analyze delinquent accounts and provide corrective action plans.
  • Support the Branch Manager in executing collection drives and recovery campaigns.

Operational & Branch Support

  • Oversee branch-level operational work related to disbursement, document verification, and file movement.
  • Ensure adherence to internal credit policy, audit standards, and compliance guidelines.
  • Maintain coordination between Sales, Operations, and Collection teams for smooth branch functioning.
  • Provide data support and MIS reporting related to credit approvals and collection performance.

Team Collaboration & Training

  • Support and guide Relationship Officers and other field staff in understanding credit norms.
  • Participate in team reviews and branch meetings to align business objectives.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • 100% completion of PD visits and credit evaluations.
  • Controlled delinquency in 18 MOB bucket within defined limits.
  • Maintenance of branch audit and compliance scores.
  • Timely support in collection and operational activities.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in Credit / Underwriting / Branch Operations (preferably in NBFC or BFSI sector).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, financial analysis, and credit risk assessment.
  • Sound understanding of loan products and collection processes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
