Job Description

Paisa108 is looking for an experienced Credit Manager to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing credit management processes, assessing credit risk, and managing credit portfolios. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with credit policies, analyze financial data, and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end credit assessment, approval processes, and ongoing credit portfolio performance
• Evaluate credit risk through financial analysis, customer profiling, and identification of credit trends
• Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with credit policies, risk mitigation strategies, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to provide credit insights, reports, and support data-driven business decisions

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Strong expertise in Credit Management and Credit Risk Management
• Sound knowledge of Finance and Credit Operations
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess financial data and trends
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to design and implement effective credit policies
• Proficiency in financial tools and software is an added advantage
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• MBA or relevant professional certification is a plus
