Consultant

Role Overview:

As a Consultant at The Digital Fifth, you will play a critical role in driving digital transformation for banks, NBFCs, fintechs, and financial institutions. This role requires a strong understanding of financial services, digital technologies, and business strategy. You will be involved in crafting digital roadmaps, executing research-driven insights, managing

client engagements, and contributing to business growth. Working in a startup environment, you must be adaptable, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Strategy & Digital Transformation:

• Develop digital, business, and growth strategies for banks, NBFCs, fintechs, and other financial institutions.

• Design digital transformation roadmaps and build digital business models, backed by in-depth research and industry analysis.

• Research and build upon product ideation and Product Life Cycle Management initiatives to enhance offerings.

• Drive new product development initiatives, identifying market opportunities and digital use cases.

2.Research & Thought Leadership:

• Conduct deep-dive market research on financial services, fintech trends, and regulatory developments.

• Create industry reports, whitepapers, and insights to support consulting

assignments.

• Develop marketing content, blogs, and social media engagements on fintech and digital banking topics.

3.Program & Client Management:

• Work closely with clients to design and implement digital business models and transformation programs.

• Manage key customer relationships, gathering insights and ensuring successful delivery of consulting projects.

• Act as a bridge between technology, business teams, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution of projects.

4.Pre-Sales & Business Development:

Support the sales team in crafting proposals and conceptualizing solutions based on

client needs.

• Assist in workshops, pitches, and client discussions, providing data-backed

recommendations.

• Work on integrated fintech solutions, collaborating with startups, financial

institutions, and regulators.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:

• Education: B.Tech + MBA preferred.

• 2 to 4 years of experience in a fintech, digital transformation, or consulting role within banks/NBFCs/financial institutions is essential.

• Strong Understanding of digital banking, payments, lending, wealth, and fintech ecosystems

• Experience in working with APIs, automation, mobility, AI/ML, cloud computing, and other digital technologies.

• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing digital solutions across the customer lifecycle.

• Knowledge of local regulatory compliance for digital initiatives and ability to provide guidance to technology teams.

• Strong quantitative, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead projects and negotiate business deals.

• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to manage ambiguity, and work in a fast-paced startup environment.
