Job Description

Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Developer to join our engineering team focused on building robust data pipelines, APIs, and cloud-integrated services that support telecom OSS/BSS operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PySpark, FastAPI, and cloud/on-prem data workflows, and a strong understanding of service provisioning and activation in telecom environments.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable ETL pipelines using Apache Airflow, PySpark, and MariaDB
Build and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI
Implement cloud-to-on-prem data synchronization for batch and near real-time (event-driven) workflows
Integrate AWS services (S3, SNS, Direct Connect) with on-prem infrastructure for data ingestion and distribution
Develop and support RabbitMQ-based messaging systems for asynchronous processing
Write optimized SQL queries for PostgreSQL and MariaDB
Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and ensure data integrity and availability
Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and platform teams to support operational and analytical needs
Apply domain knowledge in OSS/BSS, service provisioning, and activation to align backend services with telecom workflows

Requirements:

4–7 years of backend development experience with Python
Strong proficiency in FastAPI, PySpark, and Apache Airflow
Experience with RabbitMQ, SQL optimization, and data pipeline monitoring
Familiarity with AWS services and hybrid cloud integration
Solid understanding of OSS/BSS systems and telecom service workflows
Ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively
