Technical Operations Coordinator / Computer Operations Specialist Job Overview We're seeking a highly skilled Technical Operations Coordinator who can seamlessly bridge technology and administration. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves solving technical challenges, and can manage multiple operational systems with precision and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Technical Operations Manage and maintain company websites, web-based tools, and digital platforms Perform routine system checks, updates, and troubleshooting across all digital infrastructure Coordinate with external vendors, developers, and technical service providers Monitor website performance, uptime, and implement basic fixes or escalate issues appropriately Maintain digital asset libraries, databases, and file management systems Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across various platforms Administrative & Office Management Create, format, and manage documents, presentations, and spreadsheets with advanced proficiency Maintain organized digital filing systems and documentation protocols Process and track invoices, contracts, and operational documentation Coordinate scheduling, calendar management, and internal communications Generate reports, dashboards, and operational summaries from various data sources Support project management through task tracking and status updates Systems & Tools Management Serve as the primary point of contact for all office technology and software tools Train team members on new tools, software, and digital workflows Implement and maintain automation workflows where applicable Ensure data backup procedures are followed and systems are secure Research and recommend new tools or improvements to existing workflows Required Skills Technical Proficiency (Must Have) Website Platforms: WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, or similar CMS platforms Office Suite Mastery: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail) at advanced level Excel/Sheets: Formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation, basic macros Web Tools: Basic HTML/CSS understanding, browser dev tools, FTP/file transfer Cloud Platforms: Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive organization and management Project Management: Asana, Trello, Monday.com, ClickUp, or similar tools Communication Tools: Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom administration Basic Graphic Tools: Canva, basic Adobe experience, image optimization Technical Knowledge Understanding of domain management, DNS, hosting basics Familiarity with API integrations and automation tools (Make, Zapier, n8n - preferred but not required) Basic understanding of databases and data management Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data protection Troubleshooting methodology and problem-solving approach Administrative Capabilities Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Advanced document formatting and template creation Data entry accuracy with speed and efficiency Calendar management and scheduling coordination Invoice processing and basic bookkeeping familiarity Soft Skills & Attributes Self-Starter: Takes initiative without constant supervision Problem Solver: Doesn't just identify issues but proposes solutions Quick Learner: Adapts rapidly to new tools and technologies Communicator: Clear written and verbal communication skills Multi-tasker: Can juggle multiple projects and priorities effectively Detail-Oriented: Nothing falls through the cracks Process-Driven: Creates systems and follows established procedures Team Player: Collaborative while also capable of independent work Professional: Maintains confidentiality and represents the company well Qualifications Required: 3-5+ years experience in technical operations, computer operations, or similar role Proven track record managing websites and digital tools Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace Demonstrable experience with CMS platforms and web-based applications High school diploma or equivalent (minimum) Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field Experience in creative agency, tech startup, or logistics/operations environment Certifications in specific platforms (Microsoft Office Specialist, Google Workspace, etc.) Familiarity with basic coding or scripting Experience with automation tools and workflow optimization Technical Test: Candidates will be asked to complete a practical assessment including: Excel/Sheets data manipulation task Document formatting and template creation Website content update using CMS Troubleshooting scenario What We Offer Opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and technologies Diverse role spanning multiple business operations Professional growth and learning opportunities Collaborative, innovation-driven environment Competitive compensation based on experience
