Cloud Architect

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. As an Azure Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure services. You will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and cloud infrastructure specialists to architect end-to-end solutions that meet business needs and technical requirements. Key Responsibilities: Design & Architecture : Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, ensuring they meet performance, security, scalability, and compliance requirements. Cloud Strategy : Collaborate with business and technical teams to define cloud adoption strategies, including migration plans and cloud-native application development. Solution Development : Architect custom solutions leveraging Azure services, such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure App Service, and other IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings. Security & Compliance : Apply Azure security best practices (e.g., Azure Active Directory, Azure Key Vault, Network Security Groups, Role-Based Access Control) to ensure secure and compliant solutions. Technical Leadership : Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and developers, ensuring best practices are followed throughout solution development. Cloud Migration : Lead the migration of on-premises applications and workloads to Azure, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient cloud integration. Performance Optimization : Analyze system performance and propose enhancements to improve scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the architecture aligns with business objectives and integrates well with existing systems. Required Skills and Experience: Azure Expertise : 5-6 years of hands-on experience in architecting solutions using Microsoft Azure, including services like Azure Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, and Identity Management. Cloud Architecture : Strong experience in designing cloud-native applications, microservices architecture, and containerized solutions using tools like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Proficiency in infrastructure automation using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Terraform, or Bicep. Security & Compliance : In-depth knowledge of Azure security features, including Azure AD, RBAC, and Key Vault, and experience implementing solutions in a regulated environment. DevOps : Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in an Azure environment (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). Networking & Hybrid Architecture : Strong understanding of networking concepts such as VPN, VNET, ExpressRoute, and hybrid architectures for seamless integration between on-premises and cloud environments. Problem-Solving : Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing innovative and scalable solutions. Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Certifications : Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) are highly preferred. Desirable Skills: Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus. Experience with cloud cost management and optimization strategies. Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
