Cloud Architect

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise cloud solutions. The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on expertise across major cloud platforms and a proven track record delivering large-scale cloud migration and modernization initiatives. This role requires strong architectural leadership, the ability to engage with senior stakeholders, and deep knowledge of cloud-native and hybrid architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-availability cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
  
• Lead enterprise cloud migration programs, including application, data, and infrastructure migrations.
  
• Define cloud architecture standards, reference architectures, governance frameworks, and best practices.
  
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and DevOps teams to ensure alignment with operational and compliance requirements.
  
• Drive the adoption of cloud-native technologies, including containers, microservices, serverless, and IaC.
  
• Conduct architectural reviews, assess technical risk, and provide guidance on cloud solution design.
  
• Optimize cloud environments through FinOps practices, cost modeling, and performance engineering.
  
• Serve as a technical advisor to leadership and mentor cloud engineering teams.
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience working with cloud platforms; 57 years in a senior architectural role.
  
• Must have led large-scale cloud migrations, including rehost, replatform, refactor, and data migration initiatives.
  
• Expertise in cloud architecture, hybrid cloud design, and distributed systems.
  
• Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep/ARM, Pulumi).
  
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, containers, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Deep understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
  
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Architect Expert, GCP Professional Cloud Architect).
  
• Experience with multi-cloud environments and FinOps practices.
  
• Background in data platforms, AI/ML, or big data architecture is a plus.
