Job Description We are seeking a Pre-Sales Enterprise Architect with 20+ years of experience in Capital Markets, Insurance, and Asset Management (AMC) domains. This role is responsible for leading pre-sales engagements, driving client conversations, and crafting winning solutions that align with client budgets and ROI expectations. The candidate should possess deep industry knowledge, technology expertise, and strong consultative skills to influence key decision-makers and drive business growth. The Pre-Sales Enterprise Architect will work closely with sales, delivery, and technology teams to conceptualize, design, and propose scalable and cost-effective solutions for large enterprise clients. This role will have a strategic impact on business growth by shaping the right go-to-market strategy, competitive differentiation, and value proposition for the assigned geography. Key Responsibilities Pre-Sales Leadership & Solutioning : Lead pre-sales engagements, client workshops, and executive briefings to position the company's capabilities in Capital Markets, Insurance, and AMC domains. Define winning solution strategies by aligning offerings with customer pain points, budget constraints, and expected business outcomes. Architect complex solutions across Digital Transformation, Application Modernization, Cloud, AI/ML, Data & Analytics, and Business Process Transformation initiatives. Create detailed proposals outlining the technical architecture, implementation strategy, timelines, and cost estimates. Partner with sales teams to shape proactive deal pursuits, RFP responses, and solution proposals that maximize win probability. Client Engagement & Thought Leadership Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, technology leaders, and business stakeholders to drive technology-led business transformation. Lead customer discovery sessions to understand business challenges, industry trends, and regulatory requirements, shaping the solution accordingly. Present technical and business value propositions through whitepapers, presentations, PoCs, and workshops. Solution Governance & Deal Strategy Define and drive solution governance, ensuring cost efficiency, technical feasibility, and alignment with industry best practices. Evaluate and recommend the right technology stacks, vendor solutions, and third-party integrations for enterprise customers. Collaborate with delivery and engineering teams to ensure solution feasibility and smooth transition from pre-sales to execution. Industry & Market Intelligence Stay ahead of emerging trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in Capital Markets, Insurance, and AMC. Build strong relationships with technology partners (Cloud, AI, Data, App Solution providers) to bring innovative solutions to customers. Conduct competitive analysis to refine positioning and differentiate the company's offerings in the market. Qualifications & Skillsets Core Technical & Solutioning Skills : Enterprise Architecture & Solutioning : Expertise in designing enterprise-grade solutions across Application Modernization, Cloud Native (AWS, Azure), Data Platforms, AI/ML & API/Microservices. Domain Knowledge : Deep understanding of Capital Markets (Trading, Clearing & Settlement, Risk, Wealth), Insurance (Life, P&C, Health), and Asset Management (Portfolio Management, Compliance, ESG). Application Modernization : Experience in legacy modernization, cloud migration, microservices architecture, containerization, and DevOps. Data & AI Strategy : Exposure to Big Data, Data Lakes, AI-driven decision-making, and analytics solutions for BFSI enterprises. Security & Compliance : Knowledge of regulatory frameworks like SEC, FINRA, NAIC, GDPR, and ISO 27001 impacting BFSI businesses. Pre-Sales & Business Acumen Deal Structuring & RFP/RFI Management : Expertise in creating compelling proposals, SoWs, and effort estimations. Consultative Selling & Value Engineering : Ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes with a clear ROI framework. Stakeholder Management & Negotiation : Strong ability to interact with CXOs, IT Heads, Business Sponsors, and Procurement Teams. Leadership & Communication Executive Presence : Ability to drive C-level conversations and influence decision-making. Collaboration & Team Leadership : Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and delivery teams to drive business growth. Thought Leadership : Ability to represent the company in industry forums, webinars, and conferences as a subject matter expert (SME). Experience & Qualifications 20+ years of experience in IT services with a focus on pre-sales, enterprise architecture, and solution consulting. Strong expertise in Capital Markets, Insurance, and Asset Management domains, with hands-on experience in technology and business transformation projects. Proven track record of leading and winning large IT services deals (multi-million-dollar engagements) in BFSI. Experience in global client engagement, managing deals across North America, Europe, APAC, or the Middle East. Certifications (Preferred) : TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, ITIL, CFA (for Capital Markets), or equivalent industry certifications. (ref:hirist.tech)
