Core Responsibilities

• Project Management

  : Oversee the entire lifecycle of civil projects, from planning and design to execution and completion, ensuring they meet technical specifications, timelines, and budgets. 

• Team Leadership

  : Manage, mentor, and guide a team of civil engineers and other technical staff, fostering a collaborative environment. 

• Financial Oversight

  : Develop and manage project budgets, control costs, and ensure that projects are completed within financial constraints. 

• Quality & Safety Assurance

  : Establish and implement quality control plans, conduct site inspections, and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards. 

• Stakeholder Management

  : Serve as a key point of contact, coordinating effectively with clients, contractors, architects, regulatory agencies, and other professionals. 

• Technical Expertise

  : Provide technical guidance, conduct feasibility studies, review engineering designs, and resolve complex technical issues that arise. 

• Compliance

  : Ensure that all projects comply with relevant legal requirements, building codes, permits, and environmental regulations. 

• Reporting

  : Prepare and present detailed project reports, updates, and documentation to senior management and clients. 

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Strong background in civil engineering with extensive experience in project management. 
• Proven leadership and team management skills. 
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 
• Proficiency in project management software, CAD tools, and other relevant technology. 
• Deep knowledge of construction processes, materials, safety regulations, and quality standards. 
• A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, often with advanced qualifications and professional certifications like a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
