Role Overview

Civil Head

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of civil infrastructure projects (roads, water systems, soil stabilization, micro-structures, etc.).
• Oversee site operations, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with environmental, architectural, and R&D teams to integrate sustainable materials and circular construction principles.
• Develop engineering standards, SOPs, and safety protocols in line with national and environmental regulations.
• Manage vendors, contractors, and government liaisons for permits and compliance.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimation, and risk assessments for new projects.
• Mentor and develop the civil engineering team, fostering innovation and accountability.
• Drive adoption of green technologies and low-carbon materials in construction processes.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and documentation for leadership and stakeholders.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
• 12+ years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end infrastructure projects (preferably sustainable or green projects).
• Strong understanding of construction management, structural design, soil mechanics, and hydrology.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Commitment to sustainability, environmental responsibility, and community impact.
