The Chief Manager – HR Shared Services (HRSS) will lead and manage the centralized HR operations for the airline, ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient execution of all employee lifecycle processes. The role demands strong expertise in HR operations, payroll (domestic and international), compliance, onboarding, documentation, and exit management. The incumbent will be responsible for driving operational excellence, process automation, and adherence to statutory and organizational policies across all HRSS functions.

This role demands strong expertise in HR operations, compliance, payroll (domestic and international), onboarding, induction, documentation, and exit formalities. The incumbent will be responsible for driving operational excellence, automation, and compliance across all HRSS functions.
Oversee end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, induction, documentation, payroll, compliance, and exit processes.
Manage employee data repository and ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timely updates.
Drive process improvements and automation in HR operations to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
Ensure smooth onboarding experience for new hires including documentation, system access, and orientation.
Design and deliver induction programs aligned with company culture and compliance requirements.
Ensure adherence to labour laws, aviation industry regulations, and internal policies.
Maintain and audit employee records, contracts, and statutory documentation.
Liaise with legal and compliance teams for audits and regulatory reporting.
Oversee payroll processing for domestic and international employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Coordinate with finance and external vendors for payroll audits, tax filings, and statutory deductions.
Resolve payroll-related queries and discrepancies.
Manage exit formalities including clearance, documentation, and final settlement (FNF).
Conduct exit interviews and analyse trends for retention insights.
Ensure compliance with statutory and internal exit protocols.
Develop and implement HRSS strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Lead and mentor the HRSS team to deliver high-quality service and support.
Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and service delivery metrics for continuous improvement.
MBA/PGDM from a top-tier HR or related discipline
Min. 12+ Yrs. of experience in HR Shared Services role
