Chief Financial Officer

1. Strategic Financial Planning & Leadership

· Define the company’s financial strategy in alignment with business goals, growth plans and market conditions.

· Advise the CEO/Founders on long-term financial planning, funding strategies and expansion feasibility.

2. Cash Flow, Budgeting & Forecasting

· Oversee cash flow, working capital and budget allocation across departments.

· Conduct revenue forecasts, margin analysis and scenario-based financial modeling.

3. Compliance, Audit & Risk Management

· Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings).

· Lead audits (statutory/internal), manage risk and maintain insurance coverage as needed.

· Investor Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

· Prepare MIS, P&L and cash flow statements for board/investor presentations.

· Track performance KPIs and align financial health with stakeholder expectations.

4. Marketplace & D2C Payment Oversight

· Monitor reconciliation processes across marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.), D2C websites and payment gateways (Razorpay, PayU).

· Ensure timely settlements, claim tracking and dispute resolution.

5. Accounts Team Leadership

· Oversee Finance Managers, Accountants and teams handling sales-purchase entries, returns, taxes and claims.

· Build SOPs and ensure timely monthly closings, tax filings and audit preparations.

6. Cost Control & Profitability Optimization

· Analyze cost centers and drive optimization across warehousing, logistics, marketing spends and vendor terms.

· Benchmark against industry best practices to improve gross and net margins
