About the Role

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Leadership & Strategy

• Lead overall financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic business decisions.
  
• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with long-term organizational objectives.
  
• Advise the Board and Management on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
  

2. Accounting & Costing

• Oversee end-to-end accounting functions ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency.
  
• Implement robust costing systems, with focus on cost control, variance analysis, and margin improvement.
  
• Strengthen internal controls, systems, and processes for efficiency and reliability.
  

3. Treasury & Cash Flow Management

• Manage working capital, liquidity, and cash flow to optimize financial resources.
  
• Build strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors for fundraising and credit management.
  
• Monitor foreign exchange exposure, hedging strategies, and financial risk management.
  

4. Audit, Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax laws, GST, corporate governance, and regulatory frameworks.
  
• Liaise with statutory, internal, and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  
• Strengthen compliance culture across the organization.
  

5. Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team to build a high-performance function.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders (Operations, Sales, HR, Production, etc.) to drive profitability and operational excellence.
  
• Establish strong MIS and reporting structures for management review.
  

6. Strategic Business Support

• Partner with the CEO/MD in evaluating business opportunities, mergers & acquisitions, and new ventures.
  
• Provide insights on financial feasibility, ROI, and risk assessment for expansion projects.
  
• Drive cost optimization initiatives across all departments without compromising on quality.
  

Candidate Profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with

  15+ years of progressive experience

  in Finance, Accounting, Audit, and Costing.

• Proven track record as a CFO/Head of Finance

  in a reputed manufacturing industry with a turnover exceeding 1000 Cr.
• Strong exposure to Costing, Statutory Compliance, Financial Controls, and Corporate Governance.
  
• Hands-on experience in handling audits, ERP systems, and financial automation tools.
  
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
  
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation abilities.
