About the Company

Ceeco Group is a multi-entity international education organization operating across India and overseas markets. The group is engaged in international student recruitment, education consulting, training programs, and institutional partnerships.

We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee group-level finance, compliance, reporting, and strategic financial planning.

Role Overview

The CFO will be responsible for end-to-end financial leadership across all entities of the Ceeco Group. This is a senior leadership role involving strategic planning, financial governance, compliance, cash flow management, and close collaboration with the Founder and leadership team.

The role is on-site at the Ceeco Taliparamba office and will anchor financial operations for India while coordinating with overseas teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Group Finance & Reporting

• Oversee consolidated financials across all group entities.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis at group and entity levels.

• Establish and enforce strong financial controls and SOPs.

2. Compliance, Audit & Governance

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, FEMA, and statutory requirements.

• Coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, and management audits.

• Oversee coordination related to UAE VAT and international compliance with external advisors.

• Maintain audit-ready financial records across all entities.

3. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

• Monitor cash flow, receivables, payables, and commission cycles.

• Manage working capital requirements aligned with admissions and business cycles.

• Oversee reconciliation of commissions and settlements with partner institutions.

• Drive cost controls and improve operational profitability.

4. Strategic Finance & Business Support

• Act as a financial advisor to the Founder and senior leadership.

• Support business expansion, entity structuring, and cross-border operations.

• Evaluate ROI on marketing spends, hiring, and new business initiatives.

• Prepare financial models for growth planning and long-term sustainability.

5. Systems, MIS & Process Improvement

• Strengthen accounting and reporting systems (Zoho Books / ERP).

• Design and maintain branch-wise, entity-wise, and country-wise MIS dashboards.

• Improve financial visibility for leadership decision-making.

• Drive process automation while maintaining control and accuracy.

6. Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.

• Set clear performance metrics and accountability structures.

• Coordinate with HR on payroll, incentives, and cost planning.

Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications & Experience

• CA / CPA / CMA / MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution.

• 10+ years of experience in finance, accounting, and compliance.

• Proven experience managing multi-entity and multi-location operations.

• Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, audits, and statutory compliance.

• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working closely with leadership.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in education, consulting, or services-based organizations.

• Exposure to international or cross-border financial operations.

• Experience working in founder-led or growth-stage organizations.

• Familiarity with Zoho / ERP-based finance systems.
