Chief Executive Officer - Technology (IT) Company


Backed by investors of the large Group, the Company is a an innovative information technology Product / Services company. We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented Chief Executive Officer to lead the company to new heights.


Position Summary:


The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational management, and financial performance of [Company Name]. The CEO will provide strong leadership, build a high-performing team, drive innovation, and cultivate a strong company culture. The CEO will report directly to the Board of Directors.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership and Vision:

  • Develop and articulate a clear and compelling vision, mission, and long-term strategic plan for the company, aligning with market opportunities and competitive landscapes.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and market trends to inform strategic decision-making and maintain the company's competitive edge.
  • Translate the strategic plan into actionable goals and objectives across all departments.


Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee all aspects of the company's operations, including product development, engineering, sales, marketing, customer support, finance, and human resources.
  • Ensure efficient and effective resource allocation to achieve strategic goals
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Foster a culture of innovation, efficiency, and quality throughout the organization.


Financial Management and Growth:

  • Develop and manage the company's budget and financial performance, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainable growth.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for revenue growth, market expansion, and strategic partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, stakeholders, and financial institutions.
  • Oversee fundraising efforts and manage capital effectively.


Team Leadership and Development:

  • Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing executive team and a talented workforce.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive company culture that attracts, motivates, and retains top talent.
  • Provide clear direction, coaching, and mentorship to direct reports and key leaders.
  • Ensure effective communication and alignment across all levels of the organization.


External Relations and Representation:

  • Serve as the primary external spokesperson for the company, representing the company to customers, partners, investors, the media, and the broader community.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and industry influencers.
  • Actively participate in industry events and represent the company's interests.
  • Ensure the company operates with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.


Governance and Reporting:

  • Work closely with the Board of Directors to provide regular updates on company performance, strategic initiatives, and key challenges.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial and operational results to the Board.
  • Adhere to corporate governance best practices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration). An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in the information technology industry, with significant experience in product development and management.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and scaling a technology company
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful strategic plans and drive revenue growth.
  • Exceptional financial acumen, including experience in budgeting, forecasting, and fundraising.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.   
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to build, motivate, and retain high-performing teams.
  • Experience working with a Board of Directors and managing investor relations.
  • Familiarity with the business environment and regulatory landscape in India, particularly in the technology sector..
