Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Chef de Partie with 2 to 8 years of experience to join our team at The Leela, responsible for preparing high-quality South Indian cuisine. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking and knowledge of traditional recipes.

Roles and Responsibility
  • Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes, including curries, biryanis, and dosas.
  • Maintain high levels of food quality and presentation standards.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean kitchen environment.
  • Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen setting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of South Indian cuisine, including cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances, including ovens, stoves, and refrigerators.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring every dish meets the highest standards.
