Chartered Accountant

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Associate to join our finance team.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health of our

organization and the startups we support. This role offers the unique opportunity to work at

the intersection of finance and innovation, supporting high-growth startups in managing

their financial structures while contributing to our accelerator's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

○ Develop and manage budgets for the company and its portfolio startups.

○ Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic financial modeling to

support decision-making.

○ Prepare financial projections and investment decks to facilitate funding

opportunities.

2. Compliance and Reporting:

○ Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including tax laws, GST,

and corporate regulations.

○ Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and investor

presentations in line with regulatory and internal standards.

○ Assist in structuring financial frameworks for startups seeking government

funding and incubation support.

3. Investment and Fund Management:

○ Support due diligence and financial evaluations for startup investments.

○ Conduct industry research and market trend analysis to identify key

investment opportunities.

○ Oversee fund allocation, usage, and reporting for startup programs.

4. Audit and Risk Management:

○ Lead internal and external audits, ensuring transparency and accuracy in

financial records.

○ Identify financial risks, propose mitigation strategies, and implement

operational optimizations for efficiency.

5. Advisory and Strategy:

○ Act as a financial advisor to startups, guiding them in structuring and

optimizing financial operations.

○ Collaborate with the leadership team to create and implement financial

strategies for organizational growth.

○ Coach founders on financial presentations and investor pitching to enhance

funding success.

6. Market Research and Industry Analysis:

○ Conduct in-depth industry research to identify trends, competitive

landscapes, and investment opportunities.

○ Maintain a comprehensive financial and industry database to support

analytical projects and strategic decision-making.

○ Analyze government schemes and identify grant options available for startups

to secure funding and growth opportunities.

7. Team Management:

○ Mentor junior finance team members and promote a culture of accountability

and excellence.

○ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations

and enhance business value.

Qualifications and Skills

● CA qualified with 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, strategic

planning, and market research.

● Strong knowledge of financial modeling, pitch deck formation, budgeting, and

forecasting.

● Proficiency in industry and market research methodologies to support investment

and business strategies.

● Experience in compliance, taxation, and regulatory reporting.

● Expertise in financial planning, financial projections, and business optimization.

● Familiarity with financial tools such as Microsoft Office, Tally, SAP, or similar

platforms.

● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

● Strong communication and client engagement abilities.

● Prior experience working with startups or in a similar dynamic environment is

preferred.
